Step1.Greetings.
1. Say hello to the students.
2. Ask some questions:
What day is it today?
How was your summer holiday?
Where have you been in summer holiday?
How is your feeling?
Step2.Reading
Part1.Pre—reading
1. Get the students to sing a song:“Who is wearing yellow today?”
2. Show the pictures about Zhao Wei and Fan Bingbing to the students and ask :“Who is wearing yellow today ?”Please “Point at it”,Teach new words “Point at” Then show “wear ” and tell them it means somebody is in yellow.
3. Show some pictures about Yi Xiu and the thief who wants to steal the bell. Teach new word “clever and foolish”.
T: Who is the boy? Ss: He is Yi Xiu.
T: What do you think of him? Ss: He is Clever.
T: What is the man doing? Ss: He is stealing the bell.
T. What do you think of him? Ss: He is foolish.
T: What are the boys doing? Ss: They are laughing and shouting.
Help them to read : laugh and shout.注意shout 的发音。
4. Show the pictures to the students ,get them to know “through and magic”
T: Look at the king , he is walking through the street.通过手势,帮助学生理解。
Do you know the man? Yes, he is Liu Qian, he is doing magic show.
Get the students to read through and magic.
Can you make a sentence with “magic”?
Part2. While –reading
1. Look and learn
T: I’m the king. I am very rich. I like new clothes very much! (PPT: mirror) Mirror, mirror, are my clothes beautiful? Mirror: I don’t think so!
to S1/S2: Can you make clothes for me?
T: Who can make new clothes for me? (teach “make … for …”学生跟读)
2. T: What kind of clothes are they? Look! (拿出新衣)
T: They are soft and light. (teach “soft”体验感知, “light”手势感知)
What does the king think of the new clothes? Read and answer.
3. T: The king thinks the clothes are soft and light. And he’s going to show
his new clothes to other people. What do they think of the clothes?
(出示人群和男孩的图片)
Let’s read!(出示图片4,5文字)
T: (拿出人群的图片) What do they think?(They are beautiful!)
T: Do all the people think they are beautiful? (No)
Then who? (The boy.)
What does he say? (出示图片5,文字)(引导学生朗读文本)
4. Get the students to read the text again, then fill in the blanks of page9.
5. Work in pairs.
Part3. Post- reading
1. Get the students talk about the stories with their groups , and then make the mind mapping.
2. Show their mind mapping to the students . (the best can get a star.)
3. Show the pictures again ,get the students to retell the story.
Step3.Fun time
1. Get the students to read the fun time by themselves and understand it.
2. Get the students to divide the group into the king, two cheaters , the boy and the citizens ,then role play.(The best two can get the stars.)
Step4.Summary
1. Ask: What do you understand the story? Show some sentences to the students.
2. How to tell the story? Long long ago ----one day ----
Step5. Homework
1. Read ,write the new words from the memory.
2. Recite the text.
3. Try to tell a story that you like.
